Vaughn College Baseball Takes The Field In First Spring Game Of The Year

Purcellville, V.A. - On Saturday, April 1, the Vaughn College Baseball team traveled to Purcellville, VA for their first game of the Spring. The Warriors were hosted by the Patrick Henry College Sentinels on a beautiful baseball complex at Fireman's Field. Satvik Addala (Bethel, CT) and Eben Rockwell (Syracuse, NY) both pitched incredible games for the Warriors. Addala and Rockwell were credited for multiple strikeouts. The Warriors had tons of base runners throughout the game. Bryan Gil (Bronx, NY), Matteo Salamone (Astoria, NY) Jousar Brito (Queens, NY) Satvik Addala and Eben Rockwell all reached base several times. Despite the effort the Warriors displayed against the Sentinels, they would not come away with the victory. The baseball team will continue to train and prepare for future competitions later this month.
