Bronx, N.Y. - Freshman Ashlee Soto represented the Vaughn College Phoenix at the Queensborough Invitational on Sunday, October 8. She completed the 5k race in 33:42.9, finishing 118th overall among a competitive field of 144 runners.

Soto's average mile pace was 10:51. As a newcomer to the team, competing against seasoned runners will help her build confidence and improve her performance in future events.

The Vaughn College team's next scheduled meet will be October 13 at the Mount Saint Mary's Invitational in Milton, NY.
