The Vaughn College women's tennis team opened up the 2016-17 season against the Albertus Magnus College Falcons on Saturday, September 24. Juniors Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) and Emily German (Baldwin, NY) competed extremely hard for the Warriors. Rivers and German were key contributors last season for the Warriors. Both players put together a valiant effort to earn points for Vaughn College. Unfortunately the Falcons were a little more seasoned and showed more pose as they handed the Warriors their first loss of the season.  

The women's tennis team will looke to regroup on Saturday, October 1. They will host non conference opponent SUNY Delhi at the United States Tennis Association Center (USTA) at 3 p.m.
