Warriors Host Albertus Magnus College

QUEENS, N.Y. - The women's tennis team hosted NCAA Division III opponent Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, September 26. The two teams played at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Center. The Warriors competed throughout the entire match, but would fall to Albertus Magnus College by a final score of 8-1.

The women's tennis team was lead by a trio of sophomores, Alexus Butler (Coram, NY), Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY), and Courtney Scott (Wellington, FL). Butler earned the sole victory for the Warriors defeating her number five singles opponent 10-4. 

Next up for the Warriors will be Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent College of New Rochelle. The Warriors will travel to the College of New Rochelle on Friday, October 2.
