Vaughn College Athletics Hires New Women's Tennis Coach

Jordan Wright has been hired by the Vaughn College Athletics Department for the start of the 2014-2015 tennis season. Coach Wright is a New York native from Queens, who grew up playing tennis in the parks of New York City. At the age of 16, he began to take a serious approach to the game of tennis when he joined the Youth and Tennis Organization. The Youth and Tennis Organization offers tennis instruction and lessons to young children and teenagers.

Wright graduated from Stony Brook University in 2011. After graduating, he remained active in the tennis community returning back to the Youth and Tennis Organization, serving as a volunteer coach and playing in different tennis tournaments with the Brookville Parks Tennis Club. This will be his first year coaching on the collegiate level, but he is optimistic about coaching Vaughn's talented group of athletes.
