Lady Warriors Suffer First Loss of the season to Paul Smith's College Bobcats

CORONA, N.Y. - The Lady Warriors hosted the Paul Smith's College Bobcats on Friday, December 9, at Elmcor Recreation Center. Unfortunately, the Lady Warriors were short-handed for the non-conference contest. The Lady Warriors entered the game with a unblemished record, 4-0.

The Bobcats jumped on the Lady Warriors early in the first quarter. They got out to a huge lead and never looked back. The Lady Warriors only had five available players to compete in the game. Despite the tough uphill battle, the Lady Warriors would competed valiantly. Lack of numnbers and fire power hurt the Lady Warriors chances to mount a comeback.

Tehilyah Murray (Rochester, NY) led the Lady Warriors with 22 points , 10 rebounds and five blocks. Eliyah Howard (Texarkana, TX) poured in 21 points, grabbed five rebounds and recorded 4 steals.

The loss is the first blemish on the Lady Warriors record, 4-1. They will look to get healthy and whole to continue their incredible season thus far.
