Lady Warriors Fall to the Broncos

The Vaughn College women's basketball were defeated by the SUNY Delhi Broncos on Wednesday, February 1. After a tough outing against the University of Valley Forge Christian just the night before, the Lady Warriors started off extremely well against the Broncos. Unfortunately for Vaughn College, the women's basketball team was not able to maintain their energy and focus for the duration of the game.

For the second game in a row, freshman guard Kayla Bryant (Bronx, NY) led the women's basketball team in scoring. Bryant finished with 18 points and eight rebounds. Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) poured in 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Imani Garcia (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in six points and two rebounds. Ciara Boggs (Croton on Hudson, NY) recorded 10 rebounds and four steals in the contest.

The Lady Warriors will return to the court on Saturday, February 4. They will face Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) at Elmcor Recreation Center. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
