On Saturday, January 21, the Vaughn College women's basketball team defeated The Kings College Lion's 50-23. The Lady Warriors entered the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) match-up on a seven game losing streak. This was a much needed win for the young Lady Warriors team. Vaughn College had three women score double-digits. For the second game in a row the Lady Warriors were led by freshman guard Kayla Bryant (Bronx, NY). Bryant finished with a game high 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded two steals. Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) was one steal away from her first career triple-double.
