The Vaughn College women's basketball team was defeated by the College of Saint Elizabeth Eagles on Thursday, December 15. The Lady Warriors came out flat to start the game and were down early. Vaughn College played there way back into the game in the second quarter but was unable to finish out the half strong. The Eagles expanded there half time lead and would eventually go on to defeat the Lady Warriors by a large margin.

Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) led the Lady Warriors with 12 points and seven rebounds. Kayla Bryant (Bronx, NY) finished with 12 points and six rebounds. Nicole White (St. Pauls, NC) put together another solid game with 10 points on 4-6 shooting from the field and 2-3 shooting from behind the arc. 

The Lady Warriors return to their home court on Saturday, December 17, against Mid-Atlantic Christian University. The game will tip off at 1 p.m.
