Baltimore Nets Two Goals in Final Game Against Webb

GLEN COVE, N.Y. - It has been a difficult season for the Vaughn College men's soccer team. They experienced a lot of unfortunate weather conditions that washed away most of their opportunities to compete. On Saturday, October 21, Vaughn played their final match against the Webb Institute Webbies. Cowanjah Baltimore (Queens, NY) scored two goals for Vaughn College. Baltimore found the back of the net in both halves of play. The men's soccer team fought valiantly, but were unable to secure the victory against the Webbies.

Head coach, Kevyn Davis, is still optimistic and hopeful for the direction of the soccer program. "This season was underwhelming. We had guys that endured in every area of life, but they never quit. That's extremely promising moving forward. Our team was depleted at the beginning of the season when we had guys that we were expecting to count on that had to sit out for the entire year. It hurt our team tremendously, but it didn't break us. Sports can be unpredictable so every year we have the same approach, stay together and stay unified no matter the circumstances."
