HYDE PARK, N.Y. - The Vaughn College Warriors traveled to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to take on the Steels. The Warriors competed valiantly throughout the match. It was a huge Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) game. Both teams were searching for a conference win to put them back in playoff contention. Odail Lewis (Queens, NY) scored his first goal of the season against the Steels.The centerback found the back of the net on a breakaway unassisted goal.
The Warriors were only able to get 10 shots in the match and would go on to fall to the Steels.
The loss drops Vaughn's record to 2-5 overall. They will face Webb Institute on Saturday, October 15, on the road.
