Kevyn Davis Returns To Vaughn College In New Role As Head Coach

FLUSHING, N.Y. - The last time Kevyn Davis (Brooklyn, NY) was at Vaughn College he was walking across the stage receiving his degree in electrical engineering. Coach Davis was a two-time captain of the Vaughn College men's soccer team during his collegiate career (2013-2017). Coach Davis worked two jobs while maintaining a GPA >3.0 as a student-athlete. His ability to play every position on the field was inspirational and motivating to his teammates. His leadership and versatility helped carry the Warriors to two Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) semi-finals games.

Post-graduation, Coach Davis worked as an engineer for Spectrum. His passion for the game never left. He continued to play and coach youth soccer players in his community. The Vaughn College community is excited to have an alum return to the school and give back. 

When asked about the opportunity to coach his former team here is what Coach Davis replied, "Its truly an honor to come back and coach the Vaughn College soccer team. I have so many great memories here as a student-athlete. I'm looking forward to working with the group of guys we have now and building championship program".

This will be Coach Davis's first season as a head coach. Recruiting will be vital for Coach Davis as he embarks on this new journey.
