Manhattan, N.Y.-- The Warriors suited up for their final Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest against the King's College Lions on Sunday, October 17. Freshman forward, John Ulusoy (Astoria, NY), scored the team's lone goal of the match. Ulusoy saw the back of the net for the fourth time this season on a free kick. The Warriors competed with the Lions for the entire 90 minutes, but were outmanned and outmatched.
Despite a rough outing, the Warriors have young emerging players this season making an impact. The Warriors loss eliminates them from the HVIAC post-season tournament. The men's soccer team have two games remaining on their schedule. Both games will be away against non-conference opponents.
