
Queens, NY – The Vaughn College Phoenix were edged out by Touro College, 72-69, on January 26th in a hard-fought game that saw Vaughn rally in the second half but ultimately fall short. Despite strong performances from Nathaniel Edwards and Cedric Green, the Phoenix couldn't overcome a slow start and Touro's first-half performance.
How It Happened:
Vaughn struggled in the first half, trailing 48-40 at the break. Touro College's offense was led by Andrew, who scored 22 points, and Cameron, who added 16 points. The visitors shot 41% from the field (28-69) and 29% from three-point range (7-24), taking advantage of Vaughn's defensive lapses and building a commanding lead.
