Bobcats Edge Out Warriors At Home

CORONA, N.Y. - The Vaughn College men's basketball team hosted the Paul Smith's College Bobacts at Elmcor Recreation Center on Friday, December 9. It was at tight back-and-forth game. The Warriors trailed the Bobcats 33-30 at halftime. The second half was electric. Both teams traded huge offensive blows. The Warriors were not able to secure key rebounds late in the game that would ultimately cost them the game. The Bobcats would escape the wrath of the Warriors with a 10 point victory. The loss drops the Warriors record to 4-8 on the season. They will be back in action on Sunday, December 11. The Warriors will be on the road to take on conference opponent, King's College. 

Beandre Wafer (Texarkana, TX) paced the Warriors with 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. Cedric Green (Brooklyn, NY) had his best performance of his freshman season. Green finished with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX) poured in 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists. 

The loss drops the Warriors record to 4-8 on the season. They will be back in action on Sunday, December 11. The Warriors will be on the road to take on conference opponent, King's College.
