Warriors Struggles Continue Against RCC Tigers

ROXBURRY, M.A. - The Vaughn College Warriors finished their weekend road trip on Saturday, November 12, squaring off against the Roxburry Community College (RCC) Tigers. The Warriors have played all of their games on the road thus far. The men's basketball team showed great signs of improvement against the tough Tigers team. The Tigers went on a late offensive run at the end of the final minutes of the first half to create some separation from the Warriors. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the deficit would be too much to battle back from. Vaughn would extend their losing streak to four games after falling to the RCC Tigers.

Beandre Wafer (Texarkana, TX) carried the Warriors offensively. Wafer filled the boxscore with 16 points, 11 rebounds, an assist, three steals and four blocks. Michael Reed (Freeport, NY) added seven points and five rebounds. Ean Chambers (Ewing Township, NJ) chipped in six points.

The Warriors will face Webb Institute on Tuesday, November 15, at Elmcor Recreation Center. That will be their first game in front of their home crowd this season.
