The Vaughn College women's basketball team defeated Webb Institute on Thursday, November 21, giving them their second victory of the season. The Warriors only dressed six players for the non-conference match. Everyone made meaningful contributions for the Warriors' Thursday night triumph. The win improves their record to 2-3 on the season.

Joleen Gomez (Bridgeport, CT) had her best scoring output of the season. She finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Zuleika Briceno (Bronx, NY) filled the box score with seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and six steals. Alexa Cruz (Pompton Lakes, NJ) added eight points and six rebounds. Tahisha Jocelyn (Elmont, NY) chipped in three points and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds.  

The women's basketball team will host King's College (Manhattan) on Monday, November 25, at 6:30 p.m.
