The women's basketball team hosted the Webb Institute Webbies on Wednesday, November 14, at Elmcor Recreation Center for homecoming. The Warriors led for most of the first half but went into the break down by two points. Injuries would hurt the Warriors' efforts for a comeback victory. The Webbies expanded their first half lead and the Warriors were unable to recover. 

For the second straight game freshman forward Alshala McGruder (Odessa, TX) led the Warriors in scoring. She finished with nine points and eight rebounds. Christina Rivers (Bowie, MD) contributed seven points and grabbed six rebounds. Alexa Cruz (Pompton Lakes, NJ) added four points, 11 rebounds and five steals. 

The Warriors will face non-conference opponent Five Towns College on Wednesday, December 5, in Dix Hills, Long Island. The game is scheduled to take place at Five Towns College at 6 p.m.
