On Wednesday, May 11, Vaughn College hosted its annual honors convocation ceremony. Several Vaughn College student-athletes received awards for their academic standing in the classroom, athletic performance, and service contribution to the campus community.
Senior Athlete awards were presented to student-athletes who have competed on a varsity sport team for a minimum of two seasons. Below are the list of student-athletes who were recognized for their participation in the Warriors' athletics program:

Athletic Director, Ricky McCollum, gave out two distinguished awards to a couple of well deserving student-athletes that have been more than exemplary members of the Warriors athletic program.
Kent Ogisu (Astoria, NY) received the Scholar-Athlete Award for maintaining over a 3.5 gpa while competing for the men's tennis team for three seasons. Ogisu will receive his his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronic Engineering.
LacyRose Dickinson (Newmarket, NH) was honored with the Director's Award for her commitment to the growth and development of the women's basketball program and her outstanding service in various departments at Vaughn College. Along with her involvement in different clubs and organizations, she has been a pioneer of women's programming at the institution.
