Albany, N.Y. - The Vaughn College women's basketball team traveled to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) for a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) matchup on Friday, January 22. The Lady Warriors' stayed within striking distance of the Panthers for the first two quarters. Unfortunately for the Lady Warriors turnovers would hurt them in their comeback efforts in the second half. The Vaughn College women's basketball team would go on to drop their contest against APCHS. The loss drops their conference record to 1-3 in the HVIAC. 

Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) led the way for the Lady Warriors. She finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. This is the third time this season that Rivers has scored 20 or more points in a game. 

The Lady Warriors will return to action on Tuesday, January 26. They will host the College of New Rochelle.
