Two Warriors Receive All-Conference Honors after the HVIAC Men's Cross Country Championships

The Vaughn College Warriors men's cross country finished their best season in program history, placing fifth in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) championships.  After the 8k race, Tevin Johnson (Bronx, NY) and Joshua Colome (Bronx, NY) were selected to the 2016 HVIAC Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team.

Johnson led the Warriors men's cross country team this season with three top 15 finishes. He finished in 15th place at the Saint Joseph's Long Island Invitational and third place at the College of Staten Island Invitational. He would save his best performance for the HVIAC men's cross country championships, finishing in second place. Johnson received a medal for his performance during the post race award ceremony.

Colome has been a consistent runner for the Warriors men's cross country team the past two seasons. He came in 15th place at the HVIAC men's cross country championships. Colome joined Johnson at the post race awards ceremony, receiving a medal for his outstanding individual performance.
