Tennis Coach Joseph Swierczewski Excited For Another Year

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Coach Joseph Swierczewski is excited to begin his fourth year with the Vaughn College Warriors' tennis program. In a recent interview with Coach Swierczewski, he was asked what he was looking forward to for the upcoming 2022-23 season. "I am excited to be back working with the Vaughn College tennis program. I have another opportunity to teach and enhance skillsets and abilities of everyone apart of the tennis program. This year we will be competing against new institutions and that's exciting. I want to create an environment for new friendships to be made on and off the court. We will have a chance to attend the US Open before the season starts and see the best in the world compete on the same courts we practice and play on. These special moments will uplift our competitive spirits and continue to expand our program."

Coach Joseph Swierczewski has had a lot of success with the the Warriors tennis program since taking over in 2016-17. He has coached several players on both his men's and women's teams that were selected to the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC)  All-Conference team. Swierczewski has won two HVIAC Coach of the Year awards , one for the women's program and one for the men's program.
