John Ulusoy Selected to the All-HVIAC Men's Soccer Team

Flushing, New York, -- It has been a difficult season for the Warriors' men's soccer team's return to competition. The Warriors last competed against other colleges and institutions in October of 2019. Despite the extended time away from sports the men's soccer team was eager to get back on the field. The Warriors competed with great effort and enthusiasm all season.

Newcomer, John Ulusoy (Astoria, NY) shined in his rookie season. Ulusoy emerged into a consistent player and leader for the men's soccer team. His ability to take on multiple defenders and score was on display in the first game of the season. Ulusoy lead the Warriors comeback against the Word of Life Huskies netting two goals. The game would eventually end in a tie. Over the course of the season, Ulusoy has found the back of the net in four out of six matches. He was named Rookie of the Week once by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for his outstanding play on the field.

At the conclusion of the HVIAC post-season tournament, Ulusoy was selected to the All-HVIAC Men's Soccer Team. He was one of 12 players that were selected from participating colleges and institutions in the HVIAC.
