HARLEM, N.Y. - The Vaughn College Warriors took on the defending Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) champions Berkely College (NY) on Tuesday, December 13. The two teams played at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, home of the City College New York (CCNY) Beavers. The Warriors entered the HVIAC match-up coming off a huge victory over conference opponent, King's College. 

Vaughn as led by DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX) and Beandre Wafer (Texarkana, TX). Price poured in 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists. Wafer added 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists. 

The Warriors struggled to find consistent offense and were extremely poor on the defensive end. They fell behind the Berkeley College Knights midway through the first half and were unable to recover. The Knights cruised in the second half handing the Warriors their second loss in the HVIAC.

The defeat drops the Warriors record to 5-9 overall. They will have one more contest before the winter break.
