Warriors Take The Field After Two-Year Hiatus

FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Vaughn College Warriors Baseball club returned to the field in the Spring semester after being shut down for the past two seasons. The Warriors' baseball club had a six-week training camp to prepare them play live competition. It was exciting to give students an opportunity to compete in the sport that they have grown up playing since little league. The Warriors' baseball club squared off against Monros College JV team in late April. It was a fun fan-packed night game at Roberto Clemente Field in the Bronx, NY. The Warriors had many highlights from the game including several strikeouts from the pitchers that took the mound, huge hits and runs scored. The Warriors' baseball club will continue to train throughout the Summer in hopes to return to a varsity sport for the upcoming 2022-23 academic calendar year.
