The Vaughn Warriors men's baseball team is set to begin preseason workouts. Preseason conditioning workouts will allow each prospective baseball player to audition and showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff. Workouts are run three times per week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Friday, the baseball team will have exclusive access to an indoor baseball facility called the Cage, located at 62-40 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY. The facility is equipped with batting cages, where players can work on their swing and batting stance and pitching mounds, which will allow pitchers and catchers develop chemistry and timing. Lastly it provides an area to conduct infield and outfield drills. Coaches will be present assessing all talent and putting together a solid roster for the Warriors baseball team.
