The Vaughn College women's cross country team competed in the Bard College Invitational Saturday, September 20. The Bard College Invitational is a 5k race, featuring 26 teams from the state of New York. Unfortunately, the Warriors were undermanned as they only had two athletes to compete in their first cross country meet of the season. Freshmen Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) and Junior Lacyrose Dickinson (Newmarket, NH) ran in the Bard College Invitational for the Warriors
Although the Warriors women's cross country was unable to finish this race, the team expects to bounce back when they compete in the College of Staten Island Invitational on Sunday, September 28 at 11 a.m.
