The Warriors' women's tennis team hosted the Albertus Magnus College Falcons at the United States Tennis Association Center (USTA) on Sunday, October 13. The Warriors fared well against the Falcons despite the end results.
The women's tennis team dropped all three of their doubles matches against the Falcons. However they were competitive in singles play. Jasmely Payano (Bronx, NY) Omonhene Eimunjeze (NY, NY), Jolie Slatton (Farmingville, NY) and Jazmin Garcia (Yonkers, NY) all earned points against their singles opponents. Payano was the top point earner for the Warriors.
Despite the loss the women's tennis team had a strong outing in the non-conference match. They will play Berkeley College (NY) at Queens College on Tuesday October 22 for their final match of the season.
