Howard Ends Season Recording Fifth Double-Double

The Warriors women's basketball team played the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels for their final game of the regular season. The Warriors entered the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) match-up already being eliminated from post-season play.

Despite the difficult season that the women's basketball team has experienced, Marceisha Howard (Fort Worth, TX) has been a consistent bright spot for the Warriors. Howard recorded her fifth double-double of the season in a tough loss to the Blue Angels. She scored a team- high 13 points and pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds in the game. Zulieka Briceno (Bronx, NY) and Alexa Cruz (Pompton Lakes, NJ) both chipped in four points respectively.

The Warriors will have a long time off to recover and regroup before they begin to prepare for the 2019-2020 season. Although the women's basketball team did not experience much success throughout the year, they have their core returning with new recruits that will help change the program around for years to come.
