Women Travel To Davis College

The Vaughn College women's basketball team traveled to Davis College to take on the Falcons on Friday, February 1. This was the first Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVAIC) game for the young inexperienced Warriors team.

Turnovers and lack of depth hurt the women's basketball team throughout the game. The Warriors were never able to get into a good rhythm offensively or defensively. They would go one to fall to the Falcons on the road.

Marceisha Howard (Fort Worth, TX) finished with 10 points, six rebounds and three steals. Howard shot 100% (3-3) from the free-throw line for the first time this season. Xylene Decoteau (Queens, NY) added four points and five rebounds.

The Warriors next game will be another HVIAC contest against Kings College on Thursday, February 7. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
