Women Travel to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

The Lady Warriors went on the road to face the Albany Pharmacy College of Health Sciences on Saturday, February 10. The women dressed five players for the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest and played well. However foul trouble and lack of depth would catch up to the Lady Warriors in their quest to pull off an upset win. The Panthers made adjustments at halftime and went on to defeat the Lady Warriors.

The Lady Warriors had two players record double-doubles in the loss. Marceisha Howard (Fort Worth, TX) finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds. This was the second game in a row that Howard has ended the game with a double-double. Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) had 11 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.

The women's basketball team has one game remaining for the season. They will be on the road again on Wednesday, February 14, to take on the Berkeley College (NY) Knights. The game is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.
