The Vaughn College women's basketball team hosted the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels on Tuesday, January 23, at Elmcor Recreation Center. The Lady Warriors competed hard but were outmatched by the Blue Angels the entire game. The women would go on to drop their third Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest.
Despite the huge loss Marceisha Howard (Fort Worth, TX) had a big game for Vaughn College. Howard finished with 20 points, five rebounds and two steals. Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) ended with 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Lady Warriors will host The King's College for senior night on Wednesday, February 7. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
