Women Drop Second Straight Game

Women Drop Second Straight Game

The Lady Warriors hosted the Davis College Falcons in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) match-up at Elmcor Recreation Center on Saturday, January 13. The women struggled on both sides of the ball. The Falcons were able to wear down the thin line-up of the Lady Warriors. The women's basketball team  would suffer one of their worse losses of the season to the Falcons. This is the second consecutive game that the Lady Warriors have been defeated since starting off the new year with a huge victory over PSU Worthington Scranton.

Sophomore Marceisha Howard (Fort Worth, TX) had a solid game for the Lady Warriors despite the loss. Howard scored a team-high 15 points to go with her eight rebounds and four steals. Maia Rivers (Dix Hills, NY) recorded another double-double. She ended the game with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The women will look to regroup and get back in the win column when they face HVIAC opponent Pratt Institute on Thursday, January 18.
