The Warriors men's cross country team competed in their second 8k race at the York Invitational on Sunday, September 22. Unfortunately the Warriors were extremely short-handed for the 8k (5 miles) course at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, NY. Randy Ramos (Bronx, NY) was able to cross the finish line with a time of 47:11 seconds. Ramos recorded a 9:30 mile pace and finished in 86th place out of 100 runners. Warriors top runner Zachary Fall (New Windsor, NY) was unable to finish the rigorous course due to cramping midway during the race. The men's cross country team will compete in the Higlander Invitational at Branch Brook Park in New Jersey for their next event.
