The Vaughn College Warriors men's tennis team battled the 2018 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) tournament champions on Monday, April 15. The Warriors entered the HVIAC match against the Webb Institute Webbies looking for their first win of the season.

Once again the pairing of Michael Panico (Ronkonkoma, NY) and Raphael Cordina (Nice, France) worked out well for the Warriors. Panico and Cordina defeated their number two doubles opponents to earn a point for the men's tennis team. Unfortunately for the Warriors that would be the only point they would receive for their match against the Webbies. 

The Warriors would fall to the defending conference champions by a final score of 8-1. They will face the Pratt Institute Cannoneers in their next outing.
