Warriors Travel to take on the Albertus Magnus College Falcons

On Saturday, April 6, the Vaughn College men's tennis team traveled to New Haven, CT, to face NCAA division III opponent Albertus Magnus College (AMC). The Warriors entered the non-conference match with hopes of getting their first win of their young season. Unfortunately, their match against the (AMC) Falcons was reminiscent of their season opener against the Mount Saint Mary Knights.

The Warriors pairing of Raphael Cordina (Nice, France) and Michael Panico (Ronkonkoma, NY) helped earn Vaughn College their lone point of the match. Cordino and Panico defeated their number two doubles opponents (8-5). Both returning players will be relied on heavily to provide leadership to the underclassmen on the men's tennis team. The Warriors competed hard but would fall to the Falcons by a final score of 8-1.

The men will begin conference play when they return to the court on Saturday, April 13. They will face Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
