Warriors End Season in Conference Semifinals

Warriors End Season in Conference Semifinals

The Warriors made it to playoffs for the fourth time in four years under Coach Joseph Swierczewski. They were paired with the number one seed Culinary Institute in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) semifinals. The Warriors started off great, leading in all three doubles matches. However they were only able to pull off one win out of their three doubles matches against the Steels.

The cycle of strong starts and poor finishes would continue for the Warriors against the Steels in their singles matches. The Warriors  lead in four out of six singles matches but were unable to secure any victories. They would fall to the Steels by a final score of 5-1 in the HVIAC semifinals.

It has been an up-and-down season for the Warriors, however the future of the men's tennis team looks bright. The Warriors will continue to work on their weaknesses and plan to come back stronger next season.
