The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) released the All-HVIAC Men's Soccer Team on Tuesday, October 29. Attacking midfileder Azzeddine Sekkat (Astoria, NY) and defensive backs Hassan Shehoon (Brooklyn, NY) and Kevin Moreira (Brooklyn, NY) were selected from Vaughn College. All three players were captains for the Warriors this season. This was the first selection for Sekkat and Shehoon on the All-HVIAC Men's Soccer Team. It was Moriera's second time being named to prestigious list.
Moreira led the Warriors in goals scored (7) an tied Sekkat in assists (3) for the 2019-20 season. Both Moreira and Sekkat had game winning goals in huge conference wins over Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) and Five Towns College. Shehoon and Moreira anchored the defense that led the Warriors to their first playoff birth in four seasons. The Warriors finished in third place in the HVIAC and were knocked out by SUNY ESF in the HVIAC semifinals.
