Warriors Win third Consecutive Game

The Vaughn College Warriors extended their win streak to three games after defeating the Culinary Institute of America Steels on Sunday, October 14. The Warriors are in a tight race for the final playoff spot in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC). The Warriors are currently in fifth place in the HVIAC on the outside looking in. Only the top four teams make the HVIAC playoffs.  

Azzeddine Sekkat (Astoria, NY) led the Warriors with two goals. This was the first multi-goal game for the sophomore midfielder in his collegiate career. Kevin Moreira (Brooklyn, NY) scored his ninth goal of the season in the 3-1 victory. 

The win brings the Warriors record to above .500 (4-3) for the first time since October 8, in 2017. The Warriors have two games left in the season.
