The Vaughn College Warriors men's soccer team defeated Pratt Institute 10-3 on Sunday, October 7. This was a huge win for the Warriors after coming off a tough loss to conference opponent King's College in their previous match. The win improves the Warriors record to 2-3 overall.
Denis Moshchenko (Brooklyn, NY) and Kevin Moreira (Brookly, NY) both had hat-tricks in the triumph over Pratt Institute. This was Moshchenko's second hat-trick in the past three games. In total the Warriors had six players score in the match, most in a single game in program history. Edwin Bermeo (Brooklyn, NY), Jovan Gonzalez, (Bayshore, NY) Bryan Fuller (Queens, NY) and Darnell Olivere (Far Rockaway, NY) each scored a goal in the win.
The Warriors will look to stay in the win column when they face non-conference opponent The New School on Friday, October 12. This will be the last home game for the Warriors for the season.
