The Warriors faced the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Steels on Saturday, October 14. The Warriors entered the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) match-up with high intentions of picking up their fifth conference win and getting back into the playoff race.

Unfortunately for the Warriors the Steels played with great energy and purpose in front of their home crowd. They played inspired football and did not look like a 2-4 team in the HVIAC. For the second time this season the Warriors failed to score any goals in a match. The Warriors fell to the Steels by a final score of 4-0.

The loss drops the Warriors record to 4-4 in the HVIAC and 4-5 overall. The men's soccer team has one more game remaining in the season. They will face the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The Warriors will host the HVIAC match at Randall's Island.
