Sekkat and Saleh Receive HVIAC Recognition

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) announced it's weekly awards on Tuesday, October 3. Two members from the Warriors' men soccer team received recognition for their athletic performance during the Warriors' 3-0 win over the Davis College Falcons.

Freshman midfielder Azzeddine Sekkat (Astoria, NY) was named rookie of the week by the HVIAC. Sekkat scored two goals and had one assist in the Warriors' conference triumph.

Junior goalkeeper Hussein Saleh (Maspeth,NY) was named to the honor roll by the HVIAC. Saleh started his first game behind the net for the Warriors against Davis College. He anchored the defense, recorded four saves and did not concede any goals to the Falcons.
