The men's soccer team faced NCAA non-conference opponent Yeshiva University on Tuesday, October 3. The Warriors competed valiantly but did not have enough players to keep up with the high-pressure Maccabees team. The Warriors suffered a 5-1 loss.
Ali Saleh (Maspeth, NY) saw the back of the net for the first time this season. He scored the lone goal for the Warriors in the second half off a wonderful assist from Denis Moshchenko (Brooklyn, NY).
The loss drops the Warriors' record to 3-2 overall. The men's soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday, October 4, against Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent Webb Institute.
