Warriors come up empty against the Panthers

On Saturday, September 23, the men's soccer team traveled to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) to take on the Panthers. The Warriors entered the match a perfect 2-0 in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC).

Despite starting the 2017 season off 2-0, the men's soccer team has been devastaed with injuries to several starters and key reserves. The Warriors only dressed 12 players for the HVIAC match-up. The Panthers took full advantage of the short-handed Warriors team. At the end of the first half the Warriors were down two goals. Unfortunately for the Warriors, two players went down in the game forcing the men's soccer team to finish the second half playing one man down. Vaughn College would go on to fall to the ACPHS Panthers 7-0.

The loss drops the Warriors record to 2-1 in the HVIAC. The men's soccer team will have a week off before their next contest against HVIAC opponent Davis College. The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 30, at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex in Binghamton, NY.
