FALL RIVER, R.I. - The Vaughn College men's basketball team have had a difficult start to the 2022-23 season. After dropping their first two games, the Warriors traveled to Bristol Community College (BCC) to battle the BCC Bayhawks. The Warriors trailed the Bayhawks by 24 points at halftime. The Bayhawks would expand their lead in the second half enroute to a huge victory over the Warriors. 

Despite the loss the Warriors were able to get solid contributions from their young core. freshman guard DeAnthony Price (Texarkana, TX) led the Warriors in scoring (12pts). Beandre Wafer (Texarkana, TX) added seven points and had game-highs in rebounds (14) and blocks (5). Jaime Sanchez (Bronx, NY) chipped in eight points in a reserve role. 

The Warriors will continue their non-conference schedule on Saturday, November 12. They will head to Massachusetts to play Roxbury Community College.
