Queens, NY, -- The 2021-22 men's basketball season had a lot of highs and lows for the Vaughn College men's basketball team. Despite the rocky road back to competitive action after last competing against institutions in 2019, Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) was a constant bright spot for the Warriors.

Roche reached double figures in scoring in nine contests. He scored a career-high 26 points against King's College. Roche tallied two 18 point games against Five Towns College and a 24 point outburst against the defending HVIAC champions Berkeley College (NY). He received  HVIAC Honor Roll honors once during the 2021-22 season. His performances on the court did not go unnoticed by the HVIAC. At the conclusion of the post-season playoff tournament, Roche was named to the 2021-22 All-HVIAC Men's Basketball Team.
