Warriors Win Second Game Of  Back-To-Back

The Vaughn College Warriors men's basketball team picked up a much needed victory against New School on Saturday, November 17. The Warriors entered the second game of a back-to-back coming off a difficult loss the night before to United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) division I non-conference opponent Bryant and Stratton (Syracuse). 

The Warriors trailed New School 41-39 at halftime. They came out extremely motivated and focused in the second half and dominated New School enroute to their third victory of the season. Once again the Warriors were led by the guard play of Marcus Heron (Yonkers, NY) and Kemarlie McLean (Brooklyn, NY). Heron scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed five rebounds. McLean poured in 22 points and had a season-high seven thefts. Louis Roche (Carteret, NJ) had his best game of the season in the triumph. Roche shot 5-11 from the field and finished with 14 points. 

The Warriors next opponent will be against Webb Institute and Webb Institute on Thursday, November 21.
