The Warriors hosted ASA College (Manhattan) on Friday January 18, at Elmcor Recreation Center in Queens, NY. The Warriors loss a close 84-77 game against ASA College (Manhattan) in their first meeting back in December. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they would not be victorious over ASA College (Manhattan) in the rematch at home.
ASA College (Manhattan) started off the game extremely efficient shooting the basketball and finishing lay-ups on drives to the rim. The Warriors fell behind in the game early and was never able to recover.
For just the second time this season sophomore captain, Kemarlie Mclean (Brooklyn, NY) was held to under 20 points. Mclean finished with a team high 18 points in the loss. Marcus Jenkins (Jamaica, NY) added 11 points.
The men's basketball team will face the Berkeley College (NY) Knights at Elmcor Recreation Center on Wednesday, January 23.
