Mclean's 32 Points Not Enough For the Warriors to Get Passed the Panthers

The Vaughn College Warriors traveled to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Saturday, February 10, to take on the Panthers. The men's basketball team struggled to find their rhythm offensively until late in the second half. The Warriors competed hard but would go on to lose their second game in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) by a large margin. The loss drops the Warriors to third place in the HVIAC with a 5-2 record in conference play.

Freshman guard Kermarlie Mclean (Brooklyn, NY) was spectacular for the Warriors despite the loss. Mclean scored a career-high 32 points to lead all scorers in the game. Kevin Catalino (Bronx, NY) added seven points and six rebounds. Kirby Santos (Bronx, NY) and Joshua Colome (Bronx, NY) chipped in five points apiece.

The Warriors have one more game remaining in the regular season before they begin preparing for the HVIAC post-season tournament.
