Warriors Defeat New England Baptist To End Three-Game Slide

The Warriors snapped their three-game losing streak on Thursday, December 7, against New England Baptist College. The men's basketball team defeated New England Baptist College by a final score of 92-81.The Warriors are now one game above .500 with a 4-3 overall record. 

Vaughn College was led by freshman guard Kermarlie Mclean (Brooklyn, NY). Mclean scored 30 points, a new career-high, and drained eight three-pointers in the game. This was the second straight game Mclean has made over five three-pointers. Bryan Green (Bronx, NY) finished the game with another double-double. Green had 24 points and 19 rebounds. Maleec Taylor (Roosevelt, NY) had 19 points and a career-high 11 assists. This was Taylor's first double-double consisting of points and assists. Kevin Catalino (Bronx, NY)  started his first game for the Warriors. He ended the game with 10 points and five rebounds.

The Warriors will host the College of Saint Joseph's Vermont on Sunday, December 10, at Elmcor Recreation Center. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 2 p.m.
